Creative Ways to Play with This Printable:
Classified cards and busy books are powerful learning tools. Here are four ways to use this bundle beyond simple tracing:
Basket Egg Hunt: Print and laminate the 'Match the eggs' cards and separate egg cutouts (Pages 2, 4, 5). Hide the small cutouts in an Easter basket filled with crinkle paper or real plastic eggs. Have your child 'hunt' for the matches to complete their full-page board.
Sensory Bin Match: Use the 'Memory Game' cards (Page 17). Fill a small sensory bin with dyed green rice (to look like grass). Bury the small square cards. Your child must use tongs or their hands to dig and match the pairs.
Wrecking Ball Vocabulary: Lay out the 'Match the shadow' or 'Pre-writing' pages (Pages 6, 7, 14). Use a small toy wrecking ball or a rolled-up ball of yarn. call out an element (e.g., "Wreck the Bunny!" or "Wreck the basket!") and have your child gently 'wreck' the matching flashcard. This reinforces listening comprehension and specific vocabulary.
Egg Counting Relay: Use the 'Count the eggs & Write' page (Page 15). Place this page at one end of the room. Place small objects (like pom poms, beads, or plastic eggs) at the other end. call out a number from the page, and have your child run back and forth to place the correct number of items on the page.
Important Brand Update: We are thrilled to announce that The Toddler Prints has officially merged with its parent company, The Simple Life Co.
